Terence Chia has had two decades of experience in the Singapore Public Service, where he has undertaken a variety of policy, strategy and operational roles.

Terence leads IMDA's Connectivity, Cybersecurity & Resilience Group. His teams work to secure Singapore's digital infrastructure, as well as oversee its regulatory and technological aspects, including spectrum management, satellite regulations, and standards development.

Terence previously served as Cluster Director in IMDA's Digital Industry & Talent Group, where as part of industry development work, he devised and implemented strategies to grow the pipeline of scarce tech talent.

Terence has Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics from Stanford University and a Master in Business Administration from IESE Business School. He also holds certifications in cyber threat intelligence (CPTIA) and forensic analysis (GCFA).
